Sponsors are welcome to stay and participate in the networking, lunch and post tournament festivities including raffle drawing and tournament winner announcements.

We will be awarding the Best decorated/themed hole and the Best food hole during the post tournament festivities.

PLEASE bring your hole sponsor sign in and give it to someone on the golf committee. There is usually a stack in the front of the party room.

FAQs

What time is check-in?

Sponsor check-in time is 9 am. Sponsor set up is from 9 am – 11 am. The tournament begins at 12pm. Check in for Sponsors will be at the Tent labeled “SPONSOR CHECK IN” at the Pavilion located next to the main Clubhouse.

Can I provide alcohol at my location?

Yes, but only through Black Horse Golf Club. Please contact the Blackhorse Golf Club, Food and Beverage Manager, Erin Roper at 832-220-5212 Direct or eroper@blackhorsegolfclub.com to purchase through the club per TABC policy.

If there is questionable weather, what do I do?

 

Call Blackhorse at 281-304-1747 to ask on whether the tournament is a “go” or not. We will also send out an email blast as soon as we know.

Language on what to do with inclement weather. ACRP will reach out to all participants with updates.

Where is my sponsor hole?

Please be aware you will be driving in your vehicle directly to your assigned location using the golf cart paths. ACRP volunteers will be directing you in the morning as well and will highlight the way to go to get to your hole. We provide a hole sponsor sign. As a reminder, we DO NOT provide tables and chairs. You are welcome to bring a table, tablecloth, chairs and/or a canopy tent and supplies such as tape or decorations.

What if I have a Team and Hole Sponsorship both?

In the event your company has a team and a hole sponsorship, our default is to put you all on the same course. Let us know ASAP if you want to change it up and have your sponsored hole and your team on opposite courses.

When do I get my Hole Assignment

Hole Assignments and a course map will be distributed a week out from the event.

Do you provide Tables and Chairs?

You will need to bring your own tables and tents. Tables and chairs are not being provided by ACRP. Please be aware you will be driving in your vehicle directly to your assigned location using the golf cart paths. ACRP volunteers will be directing you in the morning as well and will highlight the way to go to get to your hole.

Will carts be provided?

Carts will not be provided but shuttling to and from will be available. Additionally, if a hole location is not in walking distance, everyone is encouraged to drive their cars to their location using the golf cart path. It is highly encouraged to set up your staffed sponsorship location first thing. If you need to be shuttled somewhere just text Kolby.

Will lunch be made available?

You are welcome to join us for lunch at the clubhouse between 11am-noon but please plan on getting back out to your hole NO LATER THAN 11:45am to be ready to go at the shotgun start. There will be the opportunity to grab lunch prior to the start.

How do I WIN the contest?

There will be Competition for the best decorated/themed hole and a competition for the best food at the Sponsorship Hole Locations.

The BEST Sponsor locations will earn prizes and bragging rights!  We encourage you and your staff to participate in the theme of… GOLFIESTA! Meaning… sombreros, ponchos, fiesta flare, fiesta beverages, etc… all are welcome!

You are encouraged to handout goodies, snacks and/or promotional branded gear.
